Food that nourishes and delights.
We believe mealtimes are about much more than nutrition. They're social occasions — children learning to sit together, to try new things, to develop preferences and independence. We take that seriously.
Our menus are designed to be nutritious and balanced, following the nutritional guidelines set out in the Eat Better Start Better voluntary food and drink guidelines for early years settings. We include a variety of foods — familiar favourites alongside new flavours — and we make sure our menus reflect the cultural diversity of our families.
No packed lunches are needed. We provide breakfast, a mid-morning snack, a freshly cooked two-course lunch, an afternoon snack, and, for children on longer sessions, tea.
What a typical day looks like.
Our menus rotate on a four-week cycle, so children get variety over time. Here's an example of a typical day:
- Breakfast (served from 8:00am) — Porridge with fruit, or toast with a choice of toppings
- Mid-morning snack — Fresh fruit, breadsticks
- Lunch (two courses) — Chicken casserole with vegetables and rice; yoghurt and fruit
- Afternoon snack — Oat biscuits and milk
- Tea (for children on extended sessions) — Jacket potato with beans and salad
We cater for every child.
We accommodate a wide range of dietary requirements, including:
- Allergies and intolerances (including nut-free preparation areas)
- Religious and cultural dietary requirements
- Vegetarian and vegan diets
- Medical diets prescribed by a healthcare professional
Please tell us about any dietary needs during registration — our kitchen team will work with you to ensure your child is safely and happily catered for.
