Choosing childcare is personal, and we know that getting to know the people who will care for your child is an important part of that decision. The most important thing we can tell you about our team is that they chose to work here, and many have been with us for years. They are experienced, committed and most importantly, genuinely care about the children they look after. Here's a little more about the people who make up our team.

Our team brings together a wealth of knowledge alongside our dedicated in-house fully qualified Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCo.) Many of our team members have been part of Smithfield House for several years, providing the consistency and stability that makes such a positive difference to children and the families who place their trust in us.
Every member of our team holds an enhanced DBS check, which is kept live and reviewed each term, as well as a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid certificate. We are also committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring that our staff continue to build their knowledge, skills and expertise so they can provide the highest standard of care and learning for every child.

Our staff are encouraged and supported to continue developing their knowledge and skills through higher-level qualifications, specialist training in areas such as SEND, speech and language, and regular continuing professional development (CPD) across the Ofsted framework.
When our team continues to learn, grow and share new ideas, that knowledge comes directly back into the rooms, helping us provide the best possible experiences and opportunities for every child.
