City of London Best Start Family Hub
From September, the City of London Best Start Family Hub are running a new parenting programme, Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities (SFSC).
The programme is free to attend and is aimed at parents and carers of children aged 3–18 years. It provides practical skills and strategies to help with everyday parenting challenges, while also giving parents an opportunity to meet others, share experiences and build confidence.
The programme will take place at Artizan Street Library, 1 Artizan Street, London E1 7AF, on Wednesdays from 10:00am–1:00pm, starting on 9 September 2026 and running for 13 sessions through to 9 December 2026, with a break during October half-term. Refreshments will be provided at each session.

NSPCC Learning – BabySteps
Baby Steps is a free, friendly group that empowers parents-to-be, builds their confidence and helps them feel ready for the arrival of their new baby.
Expecting a baby can bring up a lot of different feelings for new parents. That can be especially true if they’re facing other challenges – for example, if English is their second language, they’re having financial difficulties or they’ve experienced trauma. Having someone who can support and understand them can really help.
