Our Team
We have a robust recruitment process. All our team have completed Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and subscribe to the updates service, which keeps their DBS live and up to date. These are checked every term to ensure we maintain the current details of all of our staff.
All staff have completed a 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Course, which is refreshed every three years as recommended by Ofsted.
NVQ Level 2, NVQ Level 3, Level 3 Early Years Educator. Overseas Diploma (equivalent or higher).
The nursery has its own Level 3 Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO)
We pride ourselves on supporting professional growth and developing our team. Therefore, they continuously complete courses to enhance their knowledge within Early Years and subjects embedded within Ofsted’s framework. This ensures that the team work to current best practice.
Your child will be allocated a primary key person who will care for your child’s needs while they are with us. A secondary key person will also be allocated. This will mean that if at times their key person is not available: annual leave, or sickness etc, there will always be a familiar adult on hand to provide continuity of care.
Staff to Children Ratio:
The staff to child ratio is dependent on the age of your child. For your information, we have listed them below:
0-2 year olds: 1 staff member to every 3 children.
2-3 year olds: 1 staff member to every 4 children.
3-5 year olds: 1 staff member to every 8 children.
